Does it work with private Facebook videos?

No. FB Video Downloader only works with publicly shared Facebook videos. Videos restricted to friends or a specific audience cannot be accessed without logging in, and we do not ask for your Facebook credentials.

Is it safe to use?

Yes. The app never asks for your Facebook login, stores no personal data, and all downloads go through Android's built-in Download Manager directly to your device storage.

What video formats are supported?

Downloaded videos are in MP4 format as served by Facebook. You can choose between HD (highest available quality) and SD (smaller file size).

Why is the HD button sometimes greyed out?

Some Facebook videos are only available in standard definition. When Facebook doesn't provide an HD stream for a video, only the SD download option will be available.

Where are my downloaded videos saved?

Videos are saved to your device's default Downloads folder via the Android system Download Manager. You can find them in your Files app or any media player.
